With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for the implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to members of village emerald green projects committee in Honaunglone Village, Lai-Hka Township, Shan State this afternoon.

 

At the event, staff officer of the township Department of Rural Development Daw Nan Sandar Win clarified the purpose of the project and explained rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by the rural people.

 

Afterwards, an official from the township DRD handed over K 43.7 million to members of village emerald green projects committee in Honaunglone Village in the township. Altogether 79 people in agriculture business, livestock breeding business, fisheries business, trading business and students who will attend vocational school received loans.

 

Personnel from the township DRD disbursed loans of the project to members of village emerald green project committee in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Lwan Thu Naung, IPRD
