With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project committee in Tebinkan Village in Zigon Township, Bago Region yesterday.

At the event, officials from the township Department of Rural Development gave speeches and clarified the purposes of the project. Then, officials disbursed K 34.4 million to 136 members of village emerald green project committee in the Village.

Staff from the Township DRD provided loan of the projects to members of village emerald green project committee in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Ko Nyo(DRD)
