Mongphyat 15 February

A ceremony to hand over funds of village development project (VDP) to 15 villages in Mongphyat Township, Eastern Shan State was held at Township General Administration Department yesterday morning.

First, Township Administrator U Thet Lwin gave opening remarks and an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the procedures that have been undertaken.

Next, MPs of State Hluttaw, Township Administrator and officials from the Township Department of Rural Development handed over K 150 million to members of VDP in 15 villages at a rate of K 10 million per village.

The developmental works which will benefit socioeconomic development of rural people will be implemented.
