A disaster management course was opened at Shwe Hinthar Hall of the General Administration Department in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State this morning.
    

On the occasion, Township Administrator U Kyaw Myint delivered an address and explained the purpose of the training course. An in-charge from Mon State Disaster Management Committee clarified the aim of course. The three-day training course is being attended by 25 volunteers from villages in the township.
    

The course, the second of its kind in the township is jointly organized by the GAD and UNDP.
