THE grand opening ceremony of Grand Hantha International Hospital was held yesterday at the hospital in Kamayut Town-ship, Yangon.

The opening ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thien, Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein, Yangon Region minister for agriculture, livestock, forestry and energy U Han Tun, members of Yangon City Development Committee and invited guests.

Doctors of the hospital explained the attendees about the facts related to hospital.

As the grand opening special, the hospital gave free two Royal Hantha Diamond & Gold Member Cards to those who bought any member cards on that day.

The soft opening of the hospital was held in May 2017. The hospital provides 24-hour pediatric emergency care with fulltime pediatric specialists.

The 700 bedded Grand Hantha International Hospital is an eightstorey building and includes 17 24-hour laboratory rooms that have international laboratory standards, 11 lifts, and emergency stairs and alarming systems.
