Local authorities presented cash aid provided by the government amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to the grass roots in Zigon Township, Bagon Region yesterday. The provision of cash aid is the third of its kind in the township.

Under this cash aid program, 12245 households from Kankalay, Taungpotharya, Kazinkyi, Thitnapha, Sapehmyaung and Tebinkan village tracts in the township received K 20000 each.

Local authorities led by the township Administrator U Win Myint also provided K 15000 each to 5160 households in the villages and wards in the township.
