A group of local authorities provided cash assistance to grassroots from some wards and villages in Nagmon Township, Kachin State on August 11.
    

The cash aids were contributed by the government to people who have no regular income across the country amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Local officials led by Township Administrator U Pyae Phyo Kyaw presented K 20,000 each to 10 households totaling K 1,200,000 to the grassroots in the township.
    

The group consists of departmental staff and members of the township Civid-19 control and response committee.
