An event to provide cash assistance to the grassroots was held at the meeting hall of the General Administration Department in YeU Township, Sagaing Region on November 11.

Officials from the GAD would supply cash assistance to the low-income families through the village-tract administrators in 67 village-tracts in the township.  The government is set to furnish 21,670 households in the township with Ks 433,400,000 at the rate of 20,000 kyats per basic household with no regular income.

The cash would be handed over to the low-income families by Township Administrator U Khin Maung Myint and Deputy Township Administrator U Kyaw Min Khaing via the ward and village administrators.
