Gravel paving work of Ywalat-Myasikhun Pagoda road linking Pwekyit Road in Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region has been undertaken by the Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department under Ministry of Border Affairs, and all the projects have been completed 100 percent on March 29.
The gravel paving work of road measuring 6.5 furlongs in length on the two-mile long road has been implemented with K 144.08 million of the department’s funds for 2023-2024 FY.
The road brings socio-economic development to 4492 people from 1123 households in Ywalat Village and nearby 18 villages in the Township, ensuring swift flow of agricultural products and saving time and money.—MNA
