Hakha, 8 April

A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Director’s offices of Department of Ethnical Literature and Culture and Department of Ethnic Rights under Ministry of Ethnic Affairs was held in Zaythit Ward, Hakha in Chin State this morning.

First of all, Rev. U Ni Cung Thang of Zion Baptist Church in Hakha said prayers and gave blessing for the building which will be built by Delt Pride Company.

Also present on the occasion were Chin State Chief Justice U Win Myint Kyaw, the State Development Affairs, Electricity and Industry Minister U Soe Htet, the State Social Affairs Minister U Pau Lung Min Thang, the State attorney general U Sunny Thang Cung, the State Auditor-General U Lal Tin Mang, Deputy Director-General of Ethnical Literature Department U Win Naing, departmental officials at state, district and township level and staff from Ethnical Literature and Culture Department and Ethnic Rights Department.—District IPRD
