A groundbreaking ceremony for construction of extension of two-storey hospital was held at 50-Bedded Hospital in Htigyaing Township, Katha District, Sagaing Region this morning.

At the ceremony, MP U Myint Maw of Regional Hluttaw, Chairman of Township Management Committee U Soe Lwin, Township Medical Officer Dr. Ko Ko Naing, Executive Officer from Development Committee U Khaing Lwin Thant and Chairman of Township Development Committee U Aye drove stakes for the construction and sprinkled the scented water on the stakes.

The facility which is 150 ft in length, 92 ft in width and 29 ft in height will be constructed with K 177.3 million by Htet Myat Htun Company.
