A groundbreaking ceremony for construction of three-storey dormitory was held at the Youth Training School (Mandalay) at the precinct area in Aungmyaythazan Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

On the occasion, Speaker U Aung Kyaw Oo of Mandalay Regional Hluttaw, Chief Justice U Soe Thein, Regional Minister for Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation U Myo Thit, MP Dr. Nyi Min Han of Mandalay Regional Hluttaw, Deputy Director-General U Aung Kyaw Moe of Social Welfare Department (Nay Pyi Taw) drove the stakes at the precinct areas.

The building which is 101 ft in length and 54 ft in width was donated by well-wishers U Wai Phyo and wife Daw Thin Thin Khaing (Nayla Foundation).
