A groundbreaking ceremony of a multipurpose hall was held at the designated areas in Haelonsanpya village in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State on 28 August.

Present on the occasion were Chairman of District Administration Council, chairman of Township Administration Council, officials from the Departments of Rural Development, village administrator and responsible people from the village. They then drove stakes at the designated areas.

The hall measuring 60 ft in length, 30 ft in width and 12 ft in height will be conducted with K 15 million of funds of VDP and K 35 million of interest of emerald green project, according to an official.
