A groundbreaking ceremony to construct a stadium in Mogaung was held at the Township Sprot Ground this morning.

First, MP U Win Naing of Pyithu Hluttaw, MP Dr. Daw Khin Ma Gyi of Amyotha Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Yan Naing Tun and invited guests drove the stakes for the construction of the stadium and sprinkled the scented water on the stakes.

The stadium will be constructed with K 266.3 million allocated by Kachin State Government and it will be 120 ft in length and 90 ft in width. It is of one-storey steel structure type. The construction will be conducted by Chan Myae Oo Construction Company.

In addition, the Manawpiti Construction Company will carry out fencing with wire netting which is 1,800 ft in length and 5 ft in width. It will be implemented with K 30.4 million allocated by the state government.
