Forceful winds hit Danubyu Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region yesterday and left a lot of damage in the township.

The gusty winds caused the house roofs from villages in the township to flip over. In addition, it also devastated restrooms for schoolgirls and food stalls in BEHS (Alamyo). Furthermore, branches of padauk tree broke down on the students’ bicycles. Therefore, about 30 bicycles were destroyed however; no casualties were reported in the incident, according to the Township General Administration Department.
