A ceremony to hand over a new middle school building was held at the compound of B.E.M.S. in Paukdaw Village in Thayet Twonship of Magway Region yesterday morning.

Deputy Administrator of the Township General Administration Department and members, deputy officer of the Township Education officer’s office, teachers, students and locals attended the event.

During the event, deputy administrator delivered an opening speech and cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school. Next, officials looked round the school.

Construction work of the one-storey new school facility which is 120 ft. long and 30 ft. wide was implemented with regional funds for 2023-2024 fiscal year and now all the projects were completed by 100 perccent.—District IPRD
