Myanmar security personnel confiscated stimulant tablets from a boat while they were conducting a routine patrol on Naf River in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State on yesterday according to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force.

While patrolling on Naf River in maungtaw on Monday evening at 6:45 pm, the authorities found a boat rowed by three men. They signaled the boat for inspection but two men on the boat refused to be inspected and fled. A man, identified as Abhusidi was arrested along with 39000 stimulant tablets.
The authorities filed charges against Abhusidi under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
