Local authorities confiscated drugs worth over K 500.0 million on Chan Myet Tharyar Road, University Ward in the town of Myeik, Tanintharyi Region yesterday evening.

Acting on a tip-off, police members from Myeik Myoma Police Station and the district anti-drug squad together with witnesses raided the house of Soe Min Khine(a)Angelay and arrested him along with 93000 stimulant tablets weighing 9.3 kg worth K 465.0 million, ICE stimulant tablets weighing 1 kg worth K 80.0 million, two mobile phones, a motorbike and a Hilux car from him.
