Police members from Mogok Anti-Drug Squad-56 intercepted a motorbike driven by Aik Naing(a) Kyaw Lwin Oo at a checkpoint in Ligyi Village, Mogok Townshi, Pyin Oo Lwin District in Mandalay Region on 9 November and confiscated 45,790 stimulant tablets and a mobile phone from him.

In a similar incident, policemen from Talay police outpost searched an unattended vehicle on Tachilek-Kengtung Road in the town of Talay in Tachilek Township in Shan State and seized Caffeine weighing 500 kilograms.

Action is being taken under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
