Myeik 26 March

A total of 34 migrant workers were provided health care services in Myeik Public Hospital and they remain under quarantine at Aye Yeik Chaung Meditation Center in Myeik.

“They returned from Thailand to Myeik via Kawthoung this morning. It was found that they all are not infected with coronavirus but they remain under quarantine at the center” said Medical Superintendent Dr. Thandar Myo Win.

The Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of Coronavirus Disease has decided all of them to remain under home quarantine and asked the detail information of their address. Officials from Department of Public Health and Ward and Village Administrators will jointly monitor the returnees.
