THE flash flood happened after continuous heavy rainfalls on 18 July and wreaked havoc on road transport, including a bridge in Kya-In-Seikkyi town of Kawkareik District, Kayin State.
The creek bridge on KyaIn-Seikkyi -Phayathonesu Road was flooded. Over 300 feet long bridge was submerged. This creek bridge is situated near the mouth of the Zami River.
The water depth on the creek bridge is about 3 feet, and it is not safe for the vehicles to pass. The hazards pose difficulties for the commuters at present.
