A high school teacher was stabbed on Friday morning inside the school building in South Korea's central city of Daejeon, according to Yonhap news agency.
The teacher, in his 40s, was stabbed by a male suspect, estimated to be in his 20s or 30s, in Daejeon, about 140 km south of the capital Seoul, at around 10:03 a.m. local time (0103 GMT).
Waiting outside a classroom, the suspect stabbed the teacher who came out of the classroom to go to the toilet.
The teacher was taken to a hospital unconscious, and the suspect who had yet to be identified remained at large.
On Thursday, 14 people were injured in a stabbing spree that occurred in Seongnam city, some 20 km south of Seoul.
