An event to provide compensation for confiscated farmlands was held in Hlaingthayar Township, Yangon Region yesterday afternoon.
    

Also present at on the occasion were the Pyithu Huttaw Representative U Win Min, Amyotha Hluttaw Lawmaker U Aye Bo, Regional Legislators U Win Maung and U Myat Min Thu, Township Administrators U Kyaw Swe and U Nay Min Tun, officials from the Myanma Railways, local authorities and farmers.

At the ceremony, concerned officials presented over K 1,189 million to 19 farmers at the rate of K 10 million for per acre.
