With the aim of consuming fresh organic vegetables through emerging home garden in every household, arrangements are being made to implement home garden project in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, according to Township Department of Agriculture.

“To grow home garden in every house, the saplings are being planted and the saplings will be distributed to the local people free of charge. In addition, officials from the Department of Agriculture will share with the local people how to grow the saplings,” said a staff officer from the Township Department Daw Khin Myat Myat Oo.

The officials from the Township Agricultural Department are planting different kinds of vegetables using natural pesticide and the Head Office of the Department of Agriculture provided 20 different kinds of seed.
