A ceremony to honour outstanding students who passed with distinctions in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination was held at meeting hall of B.E.H.S.-2 in Pyapon Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

At the event, students from Pyapon B.E.H.S.-3 performed a school song. Next, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Tin Lin and the District Education officer Daw Aye Myint delivered speeches. This was followed by the presentation of prizes and certificates of honour to students who passed with distinctions in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination.

During the ceremony, a total of 229 distinction winners including two students who passed with five distinctions, six students who obtained four distinctions, 29 students who passed with three distinctions, 52 students who pass with two distinctions and 140 students who pass with one distinction received honorary awards and certificates of honour respectively. 

Chairman of the District Administration Council U Tin Lin, member-2 of the District Administration Council Lieutenant Colonel Naing Lin and members, the District Education officer Daw Aye Myint, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thet Hta Maung and members, teachers and students attended the event.—Aung Win Naing (Pyapon IPRD)
