A ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed with distinctions in 2022-2023 Academic year’s matriculation examination and three students who were selected as all-around outstanding student (Luyeechun) for 2022-2023 Academic year was held at the Town hall in Ward-4 in the Town of Zigon, Bago Region yesterday afternoon. The ceremony was organized by Thiripyanchi U Nyan Win and family.

First, students from Myoma B.E.H.S. performed Pyinnya Pankhin song. Next, Thiripyanchi U Nyan Win delivered an opening speech and explained the purposes of the provision of awards for outstanding students. Next, the Township Education Officer Daw Khin Thein Yee discussed educational development in the Township.

This was followed by the presentation of cash assistance and certificates of honor to outstanding students in 2022-2023 Academic year matriculation Examination in the Township by Thiripyanchi U Nyan Win and Daw Myint Myint Soe.

During the ceremony, a total of 94 distinction winners including 31 students who passed with three distinctions, 18 students who pass with two distinctions and 45 students who pass with one distinction and three all-around outstanding students(Luyeechun) received honorary awards and certificates of honor respectively.—Tint Swe(IPRD)
