A ceremony to issue identity (ID) cards to local people was held in Dawwit Village track in Tharrawaddy Township, Bago Region this morning.

The collective granting of ID cards to local people was jointly conducted by staff from the Township Department of Immigration and Population, Chairman of the township election sub-commission and village administrator of Dawwit Village track.

Then, staff from the township Department of Immigration and Population issued identity cards to local people above 18 years old in the village track in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID pandemic.
