Altogether 86 illegal Myanmar workers—68 men and 17 women who worked illegally in Thailand were handed over by Thai authorities to their Myanmar counterparts.

The Thai authorities took action against the Myanmar workers and repatriated them to Myanmar. They were accepted by departmental officials and local authorities of relevant departments and underwent medical check-ups before sending them to their natives.—Kyaw Soe (Kawthaung)
