Phaungpyin, 9 May

Personnel from Forest Department of Phaungpyin and Pinlebu Townships on 7 May made a search operation in the forests near Pinkhan creek and Kaungpaung creek in Phaungpyin Township and confiscated illegal 37 Tamalan timber logs.

The seized timbers weighed 6.91 tons.

Action is being taken against those who got involved in the illegal business under the forest law, according to the Township Forest Department.—Phaungpyin IPRD
