An inauguration of office of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population took place in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region yesterday morning.
The new office was formally opened by Regional Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Regional Minister for Immigration and Human Resource Development Daw Moe Moe Su Kyi, Regional Minister for Rakhine Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung, Regional MP Daw Myat Marlar Tun and an official from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Next, the chief minister and concerned officials pressed a button to launch the signboard of the new office and sprinkled scented water on it.
Then speeches by the chief minister and the Regional Minister for Immigration and Human Resource Development followed. Afterwards, an official from a private construction company clarified matters relating to the new office and those present posed for a group photo.
