Mongkhoke, 9 November

Medical workers from the Town Department of Public Health under Ministry of Health conducted vaccination campaign to prevent women from cervical cancer at the Basic Education Schools in the Town of Mongkhoke, Monghsat District of Shan State(East) yesterday.

On the occasion, medical workers vaccinated girls between 9 and 10 years old with human papillomavirus vaccine in collaboration with volunteers and teachers.

Under this vaccination program, a total of 35 students were given human papillomavirus vaccine, according to the Town Department of Public Health.—Yin Yin Win(IPRD)
