Medical workers from the Township Department of Public Health under Ministry of Health began the second round of vaccination campaign to prevent women from cervical cancer at the people’s hospital in Zigon Township, Bago Region this morning.

Medical workers vaccinated girls between nine and ten years old with human papillomavirus vaccine in collaboration with volunteers in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.

Under this vaccination program, a total of 82 girls who have received first dose of the vaccine were given human papillomavirus vaccine, according to the Township Department of Public Health.—Tint Swe(IPRD)
