Yenangyaung 23 July
Due to the increase in the water level of Ayeyawady River, a total of 132 family members from 27 households and their cattle in Mainmahla village, Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region had to move yesterday evening. The flood victims were relocated to Pin Sakka Lanpa Monastery, according to Township General Administration Department.
On 19 July, a total of 29 people from six households in the village were relocated to the monastery and on 20 July, 27 family members from six households and their cattle were also removed to the monastery.
In Lanku village in Wetlut village-tract, 36 family members from seven households were also relocated to vacant lands in Thanmantin village on 20 July.
