A stake-driving ceremony for construction of an indoor stadium took place at the construction site in Kalewa Township, Sagaing Region this morning.

At the ceremony, regional lawmaker U Aung Than Kyaw, Assistant Director of the Sports and Physical Education Department U Ban Ceo and Chairman of the township management committee U Zaw Lin drove the stakes at the designated places and sprinkled scented water on it.  Next, they looked round the work progress of the project.

The 12 ft. long, 9 ft. wide and 31 ft. high indoor stadium is being built by a private construction company named “Design Excel Development” with Ks. 200 million from the regional government’s fund in the fiscal year 2019-2020.—Thet Han (Kalewa)
