Than Tlang 18 December

An informative talk about disaster risk reduction was held at the meeting hall of B.E.H.S-1 in Than Tlang Township, Chin State yesterday.

First of all, an official from the Township GAD gave a speech and an official from the district IPRD clarified the purpose of the talk.

Afterwards, officials from the township’s Department of Disaster Management, Fire Services Department,   Meteorology and Hydrology Department shared knowledge about disaster risk reduction with the projector.

Altogether 80 people including staff from the township’s Department of Disaster Management, Fire Services Department, IPRD, Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, teachers and students attended the event.—Kham Ngaih Mang, IPRD
