Pyigyi Tagun, December 13   

An informative talk about natural disaster risk mitigation and response was held at the meeting hall of Basic Education High School-27 in Pyigyi Tagun township in Mandalay region this morning.

First, MP Dr. Chit Ko Ko from Mandalay Region Hluttaw gave an opening speech. Then, the school principal Dr Aung Thet Swe expressed words of thanks to responsible prersons for organizing the talk for schoolchildren. Then, the schoolchildren participated in the game programes designed for broadening their knowledge of natural disaster risk mitigation and response together with officials.

Also present at the talk were MPs from Mandalay Regional Hluttaw, Pyigyi Tagun township administrator U La Yaw, departmental heads at township level, schoolchildren and teachers from BEHS-27, members of social organizations and invited guests.—Than Zaw Min (IPRD)
