With the aim of raising awareness on scours of drugs among youths, informative talk was held at Laukpale Village in Ngape Township, Magway Region yesterday.

First of all, Police Major Zaw Win, commander of the Township Police Station gave an opening remark and clarified the purpose of the talks and detailed the disadvantages and scourge of narcotic drugs, offences and penalties for drug cases and prevention measures against drugs.

Afterwards, Major Aung Aung from security force discussed about the security in the region while staff officer of the Township Forest Department discussed about the conservation of the forest in the Township—Ma Yu, IPRD
