The opening ceremony of Inle-Khaungtaing vacation camp for outstanding students was held at the vacation camp in Khaungtaing Village, Nyaungshwe Township, Shan State this morning.

Speaker of Shan State parliament U Sai Lone Hsai, Deputy Minister for Education U Win Maw Tun, Shan State Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Myo Tun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Basic Education Dr. Tin Maung Win and the in-charge of the vacation camp cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the camp. Next, Union Ministers U Thant Sin Maung, U Win Khaing and U Han Zaw and Chief Minister for Shan State Dr. Lin Htut unveiled the signboard of the vacation camp.

Afterwards, the chief minister extended greetings and presented badges to the outstanding students. The union ministers then viewed round departmental booths being displayed at the vacation camp.—IPRD
