The final match of inter-school U-14 boy’s monsoon football tourney was held in conjunction with a prize awarding event at Aungdagun Sport Ground in Minhla, Bago Region on 14 August.

The event was jointly organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department under the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Department of Education under the Ministry of Education. In the final match, the team representing Thayettapin Zone beat the squad representing Kanyinpin Zone by penalty shootout.

Deputy Township Administrator U Myo Kyaw, officials from the SPED and the head of the township police force presented champion trophy and awards to the winning teams. The contest was participated eight teams in the township.—Pauk Sa
