An extension of Twantay-Yaykyaw Road that connects Twantay, Kawhmu and Gungyangon Townships is being carried out with Ks. 700 million funds allocated in the financial year 2019-2020.
The old road measuring nine feet and nine mile long is being extended to 12 ft. one and a new retaining wall is being built and the projects are projected to finalize by the end of April this year.
The road is being used by around 100,000 local people from forty villages for transporting rural products to other areas of the Yangon Region.—Myo Hlaing
