Kyaukse, 29 March

With the aim of narrowing the gap of urban area and rural area and ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing construction of an inter-village road linking Pankhua village and Konekyi village in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region.

Three bridges on the road measuring five ft. long, 24 ft. wide and five ft. high are being constructed by Bagannandaw Construction Company with Ks. 18.0 million allotted by regional government in 2021-2022 FY.

Once completed, the road will benefit 9733 people from 2149 households in ten villages in the Township, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Thet Maung (Kyaukse)
