Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin received a courtesy call from Norwegian Ambassador to Myanmar Mrs Hilde Solbakken at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday.

The meeting focussed on promotion of existing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, health sector, natural resource management, peace, security, women’s role, assistance for the closure of IDP camps, landmine awareness campaign and fostering the projects between the two countries.

They also discussed organizing bilateral talks between the two ministries of foreign affairs at an appropriate time when the outbreak of COVID-19 could be put under control and closer cooperation of the two countries at the United Nations and international issues.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
