The opening ceremony for ca­pacity-building training 1/2023 of the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) under the Ministry of Informa­tion was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 

Speaking at the ceremo­ny, Union Minister for Infor­mation U Maung Maung Ohn said that the capacity building training courses for staff are being conducted so that they can perform the duties of the department successfully and develop the individual’s work capacities in line with the vi­sions of the ministry.

 

The department conduct­ed training sessions, basic computer courses and basic English courses for freshers and daily wage workers of the head office, and application of Digital Library Management System (DLMS), basic library skills for staff of district/town­ship offices and pre-employ­ment and photoshop/editing training courses for the newly appointed deputy staff officers.

 

He continued that the training will deliver various subjects relating to employee management and financing, civil services law, by-law, of­fice manual, financial rules, finance, personnel and main­tenance/repairs, public library management and Digital Li­brary Management System and so on.

 

Moreover, it will also in­clude the subjects that are re­lated to work implementations of the department branches and are required to be learnt by studying hard to be able to con­tribute to the practical fields.

 

Then, the Union minister had a documentary photo tak­en together with departmental officials and trainees.

 

A total of 31 staff officers from IPRD district offices from regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council joined the training that will be conducted from 20 November to 1 Decem­ber. — MNA/KTZH
