U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, re­ceived Mr Nassereddin Heidari, Ambas­sador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar with residence in Bangkok yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, they cordially ex­changed views on strengthening the exist­ing bilateral relations between Myanmar and Iran, mutually beneficial cooperation including trade and investment sectors, and enhancing collaboration in the re­gional and international arenas. — MNA
