A jade log weighing four tones worth over K 100 million will be placed at Myintzu Park, Hkamti, Sagaing Region. Being a jade land, Khamti will have characteristics of Jade after the placing of the previous stone. The huge jade log was donated by Jade Mining Company.

Chairman of Development Committee U Ba Kyaing said, the State already levied the tax of K 2.8 million for the jade. The site where the jade is going to be placed has been already developed in Myintzu park. The jade is of liquid type found at Nancivon region, Hkamti Township.—Chan Law (Hkamti)
