An exhibition of high quality Japan products and motor parts took place at the City hall of Mandalay at 10 am today in order to exchange economy and culture between Japan and Myanmar and attract foreign investment.
Minister for Mandalay Region Electrical Power, Energy and Construction U Zar Ni Aung, Vice- Chairman of Mandalay Transportation Association Daw Ni Ni Aung, CEO Mr. Takashi Kawasaki from Metro Group and Managing Director Dr Zar Ni Maung Maung from Myanmar Promotional Services Co.ltd opened the ceremony by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
The Minister for Mandalay Region Electrical Power, Energy and Construction and personnel from Mandalay Region Government inspected the displayed booths.
The expo contains a total of 50 booths including commodity goods made of Japan, foods , cosmetics and motor parts produced by local companies. Japan-based companies, firms from Yangon and Mandalay totaling 40 companies displayed their products from 22 to 24 February. –Than Zaw Min (IPRD)
