A ceremony to donate wheel chairs to station hospitals in Ayeyawady Region by Japan was held at the Department of Public Health and Medical Services in Ayayawady region yesterday.
On the occasion, head of the Department Dr. Aung Kyaw Htwe and chairman of Public Health Foundation Dr. Than Sein gave remarks, and chairman of MJCP Prof. Shigeru Okada clarified the purpose of the donations.
Afterwards, the chairman of MJCP presented 35 wheel chairs to the head of the Department of Public Health and Medical Services, who expressed thanks for the donations.
Officials from the Department, chairman and members of MJCP and invited guests attended the occasion.
