Sumprabum, 28 July

An opening ceremony of a rural healthcare center and a residence for midwives took place in conjunction with a handing over event in Khagaran Village, Sumprabum Township in Kachin State on 27 July.

The facilities were built with the contributions of the Japanese government. On the occasion, the Kachin State MP U Zaw Dwe, Township Administrator U Zarni Toe and Dr. Aung Naing Tun from the Department of Public Health cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the rural healthcare center. 

Next, the chairman of construction committee of the facility U Mong Paung Naw handed over documents relating to the rural healthcare center to the Dr. Aung Naing Tun from the Department of Public Health.—Phong Kan (Putao)
