The Exchange of Notes on rendering assistance to Myanmar by Japan was signed by Deputy Minister U Bharat Singh and Japanese Ambassador Mr Maruyama Ichiro. According to the Notes, the Japanese Government will provide grant of two billion Japanese Yen for Economic and Social Development Programme in Myanmar.
This grant will contribute to the medical equipment, such as Intensive Care Unit beds, Medical monitors, Radiography systems and Portable Ultrasound Scanners.
This assistance will support the better healthcare environment of Myanmar and strengthen the ongoing efforts for prevention and controlling of Coronavirus Disease2019, COVID-19.—MNA
