Budalin, 20 November
Experts from the Department of Rural Development made a field trip to Budalin Township, Sagaing Region to conduct a feasibility study for construction of a rural gravel road on 19 and 20 November.
The experts together with officials from the township DRD also measured the width and length of Letpan-Wanttong-Maunghtaung rural gravel road and conducted a soil density test. The 9.56 mile long rural road will be upgraded to a gravel facility in the fiscal year 2019-2020 under the Agriculture Income Improvement Project (AIIP) funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).—Phoe Khar (IPRD)
